Marketing Is For Everyone.

Social media has done a lot to change people’s perception of marketing. Before, a lot of people felt like marketing should only be left to those who were actually in the marketing industry and it wasn’t anything that they had to deal with.

Today, social media turns everyone into a marketer.

Every single day thousands upon thousands of people are posting information about themselves for all the world to see and interact with. In essence you are promoting yourself to the world. Each and every post on Facebook or Twitter is a statement of everything that you feel, think, and more importantly are passionate about.

Market your passions and people will follow.

Not everyone is naturally a marketer, but everyone can be one by marketing themselves. There is a condition though, marketing yourself doesn’t mean promote yourself to all the world with useless information that people will get annoyed with. Be real with the people you are connected to about your passions. Speak from your heart and not with a desire to have the most friends or tweets, but rather have a desire to create a strong community that is passionate about something.

Be real with people and they will be real with you.

Being passionate and real with the people in your community and it will in turn causeĀ  you to have a strong following that is truly interested in what it is that you have to say. You will become an expert in whatever it is that you are communicating. People will begin looking to you for the newest information or insight into that area that the community is passionate about.

Soon after you will be a leader. Makes sense to think that you will be leader to your following.

Be passionate, be real, become a leader.
